Ever since purchasing my Gucci mules {last seen here + here} I've been on the hunt for another pair of backless loafers. A pair that I wouldn't have to "baby" or be too nervous about wearing over-and-over again.

I then came across this French Connection pair and fell in love but immediately questioned whether or not I really needed two pairs of backless loafers. Needless to say though, after purchasing the French Connection pair, I'm so glad I did! They're super comfortable and easy to style. And though this whole backless loafer/ mule trend may be in today and gone tomorrow, I'm confident this style will maintain its longevity in my wardrobe.

I'll be the first and last to admit that I'm a sucker for ALL things denim right now. Before I spotted this dress, I'd been gravitating to my Madewell denim skirt {last seen here} like it was nobody's business seeing that it was so easy to style and worked for any occasion! I'd been telling myself to give it a little break and on my so-called "hiatus", I came across today's featured piece and instantly fell in love! 

Like the skirt, or any denim piece for that matter, it's ridiculously easy to throw-on-and-go and doesn't need much additional styling. This will hands-down be one of my staple pieces for the summer, and probably into fall for that matter.
