I’d be lying if I said I was a “jeans girl” because in reality, I’m not. As my style has evolved, I’ve come to understand that jeans just aren’t my thing & tbh, I’m ok with that. But when my mom recently cleaned out her closet & asked me if I wanted her Levi’s 501s (that she’s had since the 80’s), I figured I’d just try them on & see.
*And needless to say, I’m obsessed.*
My biggest issue w/ most jeans is that they’re just not comfortable. And as someone that’s become extremely picky comfort & fit, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only are these the quintessential, non-distressed straight-leg jeans, but they’re perfectly baggy and thus, remarkably comfy!
And let’s not forget to mention that when shooting this look, my photographer asked if these were Khaite which, if you’re unfamiliar w/ the brand, retail for about $450 on a good day.
Jacket. GRLFRND. Jeans: vintage. Bag: Amazon. Shoes: Bottega Veneta. Sunglasses: Gucci.
If you’re like me & have zero-to-no tolerance for (most) jeans, I highly recommend scouring the men’s and women’s denim sections at your local thrift stores as you never know what vintage gems you can find.
