Here we are again. Another month later and another life update. So, where do I begin? I’ve been in New York just under 2 months now and though this picture was only taken a week ago, it’s all but 70 today. Winter weather is definitely setting in and if i’m just being honest, I’m not ready: mentally or physically.
I told myself that before I buy anymore “cute” clothes, I’d need to invest in some REAL winter essentials again. I.E., wool beanies, fleece-lined tights and of course, everyone’s favorite Uniqlo heat tech turtlenecks. It all sounds so boring but nothing sucks more than walking outside and the cold ripping straight through your “super cute” outfit. Been there. Done that. And issa no for me dawg.
And the apartment you ask? It’s slowly coming together and that’s exactly how I want it to be. I’ve intentionally taken my time in decorating because 1. I’m on a budget and 2. I want every piece to truly reflect my style and aesthetic. I’ve been sourcing a lot more vintage and thrifted pieces and finding the right piece, in the right condition and at the right price takes time. ALOT of time!
